1. Insert both hands into the loop.
2. Wrap the far string around the left wrist one turn.
3. Wrap the near string around the right wrist one turn.
4. The right thumb and little finger touch together, and pick up the left wrist string.
5. The left thumb and little finger touch together, and pick up the right wrist string.
6. The right middle (or index) finger picks up the left palm string and then the left middle (or index) finger picks up the right palm string.
7. Release wrist loops.
8. You can make reciprocating movement of the central pattern.
