A Dog with Large Ears
1. Do Position 1. The near thumb string is shortened.
2. Index fingers hook up the near thumb string from the near side.
3. The left thumb moves into the right thumb loop from below and shares it.
The right thumb moves into the left thumb loop from below and shares it.
4. The left and right little fingers hook down and hold the left far thumb string and the right far index-finger string, respectively.
The little-finger loop drops naturally.
5. Each thumb hooks down the far thumb string so as to slip off one of thumb loops. Unbend thumbs.
6. Thumbs pick up the near index-finger string and share the loop.
7. Navajo thumbs and release index fingers.
8. The right index finger moves into the far-side central triangle from above, then hooks up the two strings,
moves into the right thumb loop from above, moves under intervening strings,
and hooks up the right far little-finger string.
9. Release the left little finger.
10. The left little finger moves under intervening strings, then moves into the right thumb loop from below
and removes the right index-finger loop.
11. The right index finger moves into the right thumb loop from above, then moves under intervening strings,
moves into the right little-finger strings from below, and moves into the central triangle from above.
12. Rotate the right index finger 360 degrees (toward you → up → away from you → down).
(Steps 11-12 are not needed if you find the correct hole and insert the right index finger into it after Step 10.)
13. Release right thumbs and little fingers.
14. The right middle, ring and little fingers move into the loop hooked on the right index finger from above and hold it.

If you strain the strings, the dog runs toward the left side.
