Big Star

Here I show a procedure slightly different from that introduced in guidebooks and other websites.

1. Do Opening A.

2. Middle fingers move over index-finger loops and pick up far thumb strings.

3. Release thumbs.

4. Thumbs move under intervening strings and pick up the far little-finger string.

(The following steps are the same as Steps 6-11 of "Many Stars".)

5. Release little fingers.

6. Thumbs and index fingers touch together, then move under the near middle-finger string and pick up far middle-finger strings.

7. Release middle fingers.

8. Navajo index-fingers softly. (Do not strain the strings yet.)

9. Navajo thumbs softly.

10. Thumbs hook down the released loops. The upper thumb loops drop naturally.
